Minecraft Player Spends Three Years Creating a Fictional uS City

This is actually an image of an Minecraft project that's been under construction for three years in an attempt to create an imaginary North American metropolis at an amazing level of detail. "Maybe it's hard to believe, but I created it myself and it took me almost three years," creator the_balazs says on Reddit. Although it was developed using the WorldEdit mod, it's not the only tool in the arsenal. Everything you see was made by hand. With the help of Chunky, the screenshots were built using extravagant lighting.

You can download the map for yourself on Planet Minecraft. It's called Tranton It's a fictionalized city that is loosely based on New York and Chicago. Everything is scaled to scale and even has floors in the interior. It's a remarkable piece of work in all aspects.
